Wow what a mistake I made this morning. I was feeling kind of tired, blah, just having one of those low mood days. I felt a horrible cranky mood coming on last nite and have been trying to shake it off. So, this morning before my workout, I was so smart and decided to have my body fat calipered. Yeah. Feeling so good about myself and how strong I am, and that whoo hoo, I am the only girl going out for swat, all down the toilet.
If I can do 50 push ups and 5 dead hang pull ups, why is there still excess fat on my deltiod???
I totally expected the belly blubber, and it didnt disappoint. My thigh even had fat on it. Seriously, all of this working out and healthy eating and I am still 26 percent body fat? Yeah, the body fat calculator said I am 97 lbs of lean and 32 lbs of lard!!!! Of course we measured the caliper way and then did an expirement with the tape measure and I still always came in 24-26 percent. Thats crap. I havent had unhealthy food for ages, and its not even helping.
This info sure wasnt inspiring during the workout today. I slugged along feeling fat and sloppy and ran slow and painfully into every wall there was during the workout.
I may have to start this zone thing early. Either that or start practicing "whale calls" so I can go to the ocean and communicate with my family.
